The studio's stated mission is to empower women by enhancing natural beauty through hair care, education and innovation. Founder Kimberly Rawlins leads the work and is the creator of the KH2 Titanium Flat Iron.

Extensions are a large part of the menu. Options include microlink installs with a floating track of wefted hair, tape-ins, K-Tip bonds applied strand by strand with keratin adhesive, I-Tip beaded strands, V-Light bonding for fine or thinning hair, hybrid installs that combine a half sew-in with microlinks, and sew-in weaves. Hair for extensions is an additional cost on top of installation. A 25% deposit secures a booking for any extension method. An extensions consultation, which takes about five minutes and costs $25, is required before tape-in, microlink, K-Tip, I-Tip and hybrid installations, and hair should not be purchased or installation booked until it is complete. Color Extensions is for Kimistry installation clients only, runs a 72-hour processing period, and requires hair to be dropped off four days before installation.

Bridal consultations are by appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with a non-refundable $100 deposit that is applied to a bridal package once the wedding is booked. There are three packages: It's Your Day at $400, on location for the bride only; The Perfect Pair at $550, for the bride and one other person; and Small but Sweet at $1,500, covering up to four people. Bridal services range from $400 to $2,000 and include updos, soft waves or braided styles.

New clients follow three steps: select a service, meet a stylist, then book online. Hours on the booking site are Tuesday and Wednesday 10 am to 3 pm, Thursday 12 pm to 6 pm, Friday 9 am to 3 pm and Saturday 8 am to 12 pm, with Monday and Sunday closed.
