A visit starts with a consultation built into the full session, where the artist recommends a technique, maps the face and matches pigment to the client's natural brow color and skin tone. Clients can come in wearing their usual makeup. Permanent makeup needs no recovery period; minor redness and swelling are the usual aftereffects. Lip blushing takes about five to seven days to heal, and swimming and heavy sweating should be avoided for the first few days. Microblading, PowderBrow, Nanobrow and lip blushing are listed at $675 to $875, with prices varying by artist; initial touch-ups are $125 and periodic touch-ups are $325 to $375. Brow waxes and brow and lash esthetics range from $25 to $90. The studio says its prices are guaranteed and no quote is needed before booking.

Clients can book by calling or texting 706-480-8870 or through the studio's website. When dates are full, clients are directed to a waitlist, and staff reach out personally to arrange bookings. A phone or text consultation can be set up before booking. Clients traveling in from out of state can ask the studio for dining and lodging suggestions.

The studio runs KNS Academy, which trains permanent makeup artists. Introductory and advanced permanent makeup training is offered in person or fully online and covers microblading, PowderBrow and advanced topics. Artists also complete an apprenticeship under lead artists, usually a year or more, that includes shadowing, theory, practice on latex and work on models.

Permanent makeup is not offered to people who are pregnant or nursing, people currently using isotretinoin, or anyone with a serious skin condition in the treated area. After chemotherapy or radiation, the studio asks for six months before service unless a physician's letter clears the client sooner. Lip filler is recommended three weeks before lip blushing or three to five days after it. Botox after brow services should wait three to five days. Three-dimensional nipple and areola tattooing after a mastectomy is scheduled nine to 12 months after surgery, or sooner with a doctor's approval. Clients who had permanent makeup done elsewhere are booked for a full session with new measurements and color matching. The studio does not bill insurance directly but provides superbills that may help clients seek reimbursement. Evans is open Tuesday 9 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM, and Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Brighton is open Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM, and is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

The studio aims for healed results that look healthy and natural, and chooses between brow techniques based on the client's skin and brow hair.
