Curly hair is a central part of the work. Curls are cut dry in their natural state and then finished with a wet cut, and the menu includes curly haircuts, curly wash and diffuser blow dries, and curly styles finished with a flat or curling iron.

Color services include balayage, foil highlights, bright and vivid shades, scalp bleach touch-ups for regrowth, and corrective work. Creative color, double process and color correction are priced by the hour after a hair assessment, and a consultation on a separate day comes first. Fashion colors are a separate service from the standard color menu.

New clients can book an in-person consultation for $30, which is credited toward the next service booked, and it cannot be scheduled on the same day as a color service. A 30-minute virtual consultation by Zoom is also offered and booked separately. Pricing is set by hair length rather than gender.

Card information must be given before an appointment, and cards are not stored between visits. Changes made at least 48 hours ahead are free, while later changes may be charged 40% of the service price. Guests are welcome, though space is limited unless they wait in the waiting area, and children may attend if they stay calm around the sharp tools and chemicals.

The salon describes its aim as creating a look that makes each client feel like their true self.
