Color services follow a set sequence. A color consultation comes first, costs $11, takes about 30 minutes and requires a $10 deposit. If the test strand lifts well, a $50 non-refundable deposit is needed to book the color appointment itself. Full color services such as balayage, one step color, root touch-ups and vivid transformations all need that consultation beforehand.
Longer appointments are priced by the hour for color work, and the studio lists approximate durations for each one. Cuts are longer sessions that include a shampoo, deep conditioning mask, steam and aromatherapy, with styling included. Curly cuts start dry, so the cut is shaped with the natural curl in view before the wash and diffusing.
The portfolio shows one step color, short wolfcuts with baby bangs, layered cuts with curtain bangs, vivid transformations and balayage, curly cuts, color blocking and natural-looking colored highlights.
