Each stylist is independent and sets their own schedule, so hours and availability differ from person to person. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed and are often limited, so the salon recommends booking ahead with a preferred stylist.

Stylists work across a range of curl patterns, and curl expertise varies by stylist, so the free 15-minute curl type consultation is a useful first step for anyone with curls or waves.

Color and product brands vary by stylist, since each one works with their own professional color lines. Retail products include select items from Unite, Curl Junkie, Davines and Aluram, in both luxury and budget-friendly salon-grade options, and specific requested products can be special ordered. Clients with ingredient sensitivities or ammonia-free needs are asked to contact their stylist before booking.

Booking policies: online booking deposits are credited to the client account toward future services. Refunds for canceled appointments must be requested and are processed manually, with timing depending on the client's bank or card issuer, and all refunds follow a 48-hour cancellation policy. Silent or low-conversation appointments are available if clients note it in online booking or mention it by phone or text. Fully private one-on-one appointments are not offered, though referrals to private studios are available on request. There is no parking lot, but free street parking is available in front of the salon. Gift cards and service packages are offered.
