Kate Shipman Mane Republic is a small studio built around its owner, Kate Shipman, who works as the hair stylist. The menu covers color, extensions, haircuts, updos and waxing, with color work and extensions making up much of the listed services.

Each visit begins with a consultation so the stylist can learn what the client needs and wants before offering recommendations. Color services range from root retouches and toner add-ons to full highlights, balayage and color correction, and several are paired with a cut and style. Halo Couture extensions begin with a consultation for color matching and sizing.

The studio is open Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Wednesday from 1 PM to 8 PM, and is closed Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A 30% fee applies to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, and a 75% fee applies to no-call, no-show appointments. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100, $200 or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.
