The salon is private, so a client is usually the only one during an appointment. Bridal trials take place there and show the planned look so adjustments can be made before the wedding. On the wedding morning, clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair and no makeup or SPF, and are encouraged to bring hair from the night before rather than wet hair. Makeup is applied before hair, and clients are advised to be ready about two hours before the ceremony. Clients do not need to bring their own products, and a client portal holds appointments, contracts, invoices, wedding details, notes and inspiration photos.
Wellness services are built into the wedding offerings. The Chillzilla Morning Skin Care Prep is a bridal skin prep that can include dermaplaning, lymphatic massage and cooling eye patches. The Chillzilla Concierge service during the wedding morning includes scalp and hand massage during glam and veil placement. Wedding morning yoga is a slow flow that lets guests change and move into hair and makeup without showering first. Mobile massage comes in 60 and 90 minute sessions, and a group yoga class and couples massage are also offered. The Ultimate Chillzilla package is $799 and is limited to a handful of clients each year. Bachelorette wellness experiences are $299 per person with a minimum of six loved ones.
Pricing is set by service and by who does the work. A bride's hair and makeup with a Just Lago artist is $555, and with Dana Lagomarsino it is $888. There is no minimum spend. A 30% deposit secures the wedding date after a quote, and final payment is due one month before the wedding. Weddings within 90 days carry a non-refundable $299 rush fee, and an early morning fee applies to appointments before 8am. A 20% service fee is added to bookings, which the business says supports its artists and operations and includes the standard gratuity, so tipping is optional. Bundling hair and makeup is described as saving about $40 per person. Corporate chair massage, workplace wellness and on-site hair and makeup for events are offered through a separate partnership.
