Julie Munn Makeup is run by owner and makeup artist Julie Munn, who trained at Makeup First School in Chicago and has about ten years of makeup experience. Bridal work is the core of the business, and the studio also works with several salons and can provide makeup on a wedding day when a bridal party needs it.

Bridal makeup applications use a silicone-based airbrush foundation from Temptu, custom mixed for each client, and traditional foundation is also available. The business says its bridal makeup is designed to last all day and night. Makeup can address small imperfections, tattoos and birthmarks, and skin prep is tailored to oily, dry or large-pored skin.

Bridal services can take place on location at a hotel or home, with a portable makeup chair, lighting and a mobile kit. Hair and makeup trials can be done together with a bridal hair stylist.

Private makeup lessons are tailored to each client and take place at the owner's home; the owner will travel to clients for an additional $50 fee.
