Julia works from two spaces: a suite at Aspire Salon Suites at Triangle Square in Costa Mesa, and Salon Benjamin in the Arts District of Los Angeles.

Booking is done online, where clients choose whether they are new or returning. First-time colour clients are invited to a consultation, in person or by text. A consultation is also required before colour corrections, perms and any new extension booking; extension consultations are complimentary. A haircut includes a consultation, wash, wet cut, dry detailing and blowdry, unless the client asks for something different. Clients can book a haircut for themselves and a friend, and a complimentary consultation is available for that.

Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment requires at least 24 hours' notice. A cancellation or no-show fee of $50 applies to most services. On longer services the fee is typically half the listed price, while on shorter services it is half the price or less. Clients experiencing financial hardship can access sliding scale and donation appointments on set days, and can contact the salon to arrange a price.

Some add-ons are priced separately. Colour between highlights is $35 extra, toner is $65 extra, and each extra tube of colour is $25 extra. Blowdries are half-priced when added to colour services and must be booked with them. Olaplex or B3 is added to most bleach services.

Conditioning starting at $45, from quick masks of ten to twenty minutes to semi-permanent deep conditioners applied under heat, plus a scalp treatment for dandruff and itchy scalp.
