The surgeon starts by learning what each patient hopes to achieve and sets realistic expectations about what can be accomplished. Facelift and neck lift surgery takes four to six hours under general anesthesia with a licensed anesthetist. It is usually performed at a local outpatient surgery center in San Francisco, though an overnight hospital stay can be chosen. Most people return to work within 10 to 14 days, and a capable adult is advised to stay for 24 hours afterward.

Botox and Dysport are given with a micro-needle in several facial locations and take about 10 minutes. Results are typically seen within 14 days, and a single treatment may last three to five months, though individual results vary. Patients are advised not to rub or massage treated areas afterward.

Quoted prices include the surgeon's fee, operating room and facility fees, anesthesia, garments, and pre- and post-operative appointments. Quotes are valid for 90 days, and the practice does not bill insurance. Sculptra to the buttock is paid in full before booking, at $1,050 per vial.
