The haircut menu runs from a quick bang trim to a full first-visit appointment. The Josie Day Experience haircut takes an hour and includes breathwork with an intention, a scalp massage, a wash, cut and style. A longer version of one hour and fifteen minutes suits thick hair or extra time, and a one-and-a-half-hour transformation cut is for major changes or very thick hair. A simple dry cut without the Experience extras is also available, along with a 30-minute cut for short hair, clipper cuts and kids, and a 45-minute personalized cut with intention setting and breathwork.

Color is the core of the salon. Options include grey blending root touch-ups that soften new growth without a harsh root line, shadow root work with toning, pull-through color that refreshes mid-lengths and ends, partial and full custom color, and a transformation color planned around a consultation and the look the client wants. Customized color for brunettes is a specialty. Services are priced hourly, based on how long the hair needs.

Guests can use free high-speed Wi-Fi and enjoy filtered water, Nespresso coffee, several teas and hot chocolate. During appointments, wine, sparkling water and snacks are offered. Street parking is unmetered, though some streets have a two-hour limit. The salon works with Green Circle Salons, which the salon says recycles up to 95% of studio beauty waste. Online bookings are made through Glossgenius, which also offers Buy Now, Pay Later for bookings between $50 and $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Cancellations need at least 48 hours notice, and late cancellations may lead to being barred from future bookings.
