About

Jess Huerta Hair is run by hairstylist Jess Huerta from a space inside Daniel Jordan Salon in Encino Town Center, on the south side of Ventura Blvd. The entrance is at the rear of the shopping center, between The Spot and M.Franke Photography. Free parking is available throughout the center, and the closest spaces are behind the building; underground parking is also available and is the better choice in hot summer months.

Jess works with the view that good hair comes from collaboration. Appointments begin with a conversation about the client's hair goals and daily life, and each haircut is shaped to the client's face shape, hair type and routine. Clients are taught enough to make the look work between visits, and Jess shares styling tips and product suggestions for keeping results at home.

The studio is known for precision cuts and for color that is planned to grow out well, so maintenance stays manageable. Color services cover all-over color, toners and glosses, touch-ups and base root work, classic partial, mini faceframe and full highlights, and partial, dimensional and hand-painted balayage. Jess custom blends color formulas and keeps them on file for later visits. Highlight and balayage services include K-18 treatment steps, and keratin treatments, braids, updos and color correction are also offered.

New clients request an appointment through the Book Now page and are followed up by the stylist, and a complimentary consultation can be booked. Questions and photos can be emailed to help choose the right service. First-time visits and color corrections usually take longer than routine maintenance, and clients are asked to arrive with clean hair, without heavy masks or non-hair oils, and to bring inspiration photos. Prices may change with hair length, thickness and the final look, and the salon lists starting prices such as $70 for a short haircut, $80 to $95 for a medium-long haircut, $250 for a full highlight, and $295 for a full balayage.

Treats hair as a shared project with the client, starting each visit with goals and lifestyle, customizing cuts to the individual, and teaching clients how to maintain results.

Client testimonials on the home page describe the space as clean and spacious.
