The studio concentrates on healthy, low-maintenance color, so clients can stretch the time between visits. Grey blending is offered as an initial appointment for people who want their grey softened, and it can be scheduled around a flexible plan for future touch-ups.
Visits are by appointment only. New guests complete an online form with current photos of their hair before booking, and the in-salon intake form is completed at the appointment. Haircut-only bookings are not taken for new guests, so a color or treatment service is part of the first visit. Clients text when they arrive and the stylist meets them at the door.
Parking is in marked spaces either in front of the former Ethos Vegan Kitchen across New York Avenue or behind the suite building, facing the entrance. The studio is off Fairbanks Avenue and New York Avenue. Hours are Tuesday 10am to 6pm, Wednesday 12pm to 7pm, Thursday 11am to 8pm and Friday 10am to 4pm, and inquiries are answered Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm.
Cancellations need 48 hours notice. A late-cancelled appointment carries a fee of $50 for visits up to 1.5 hours, $75 for visits over 1.5 hours up to 2.5 hours, and $100 for visits over 2.5 hours, and the fee must be paid before that appointment can be rescheduled. Grey Blending Initial Appointments carry a $150 deposit that is applied to the visit, and it is not refundable if the appointment is cancelled less than 72 hours ahead. Those appointments can be moved once with 72 hours notice, except in November and December when changes are not allowed. No-shows cannot book future appointments.
