The salon is family-owned and has been on Park Avenue in Winter Park for over 40 years. Its owners, Gary Lambert and Shawn Hunt, lead a team of stylists. The salon says it offers modern beauty services shaped around each client's personal style and that it uses only top-quality products.

About

Women's cuts begin with a consultation, a scalp massage, a shampoo and conditioner, then a customized cut and blow dry, and usually take 45 to 75 minutes. Stylists suggest home care products and routines suited to the client's hair type afterward. Men's services include a shampoo, a hot towel, and a massage of the shoulders, neck and head. Color appointments usually run 2 to 4 hours or longer, depending on length, density and technique. Consultations are available before booking, and balayage or major changes are estimated at that visit. Specialty and fantasy colors are offered by consultation only. A haircut and color can be combined into one visit if clients mention it when booking.

The salon reports that it has been the salon of choice for concert venues such as Hard Rock Live and the Amway Center and for the Central Florida Film Festival, and that it has provided hair and makeup for visiting celebrities and performers. It also says it supports Central Florida charities, including the American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Better program and Second Harvest Food Banks. Clients can book online. Provisional hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 6pm and Friday and Saturday from 9am to 4pm, with concierge appointments by arrangement on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. Appointments can be cancelled with 24 hours notice, or a fee applies. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times, and clients are asked to silence phones and arrange childcare during appointments. On-location services are available and priced individually. Prices may change based on individual needs and at the consultant's discretion.
