JEM Esthetics is a solo practice at 7062 Lawndale St in Houston, run by one Licensed Esthetician, Jasmine Martinez. Its services fall into three groups: brows, facials and waxing.

Brow services start with a hybrid henna brow tint and run up to lamination combined with a custom tint and shaping wax. Lamination maintenance is booked two to four weeks after a lamination visit and includes wax clean-up and a tint refresh.

The three facials differ in length and depth. The Intro Basic Facial (60 minutes) includes a skin consultation, cleanse, mask, treatment and face massage. The Ultimate Glow Facial (70 minutes) adds extractions, a custom exfoliant, a hydrating mask and an at-home routine recommendation. The Luxe Glow Facial (90 minutes) covers a deep cleanse, exfoliation, scalp massage and skin treatments, with one add-on chosen from LED light, high frequency, dermaplaning or gua sha.

Waxing covers the face, eyebrows, underarms, bikini, Brazilian, half legs and full legs. The Brazilian wax covers the entire pubic area from front to back, and the half-leg wax can be done on the upper leg (thigh to knee) or the lower leg (knee to ankle).

Most services need a $10 deposit to book, and the Eyebrow Wax needs $5. A 50% cancellation fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made on the day of the appointment. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment.

Hours are Monday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday 8:30 AM to 5 PM and Thursday 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The studio is closed Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Run as a solo practice by one Licensed Esthetician, with services focused on brows, facials and waxing.
