A visit to the studio usually starts with a 20-minute consultation covering the look a client wants, their loc goals, scalp needs, hair type and a plan. Loc services include a shampoo and condition for locs, retwists priced from $100 depending on loc size, and styling. Clients can add a detox treatment, which uses an apple cider vinegar soak, or a hydration treatment, which is a steam wash with reconstructive conditioning. The studio recommends following a detox with hydration because detoxes can dry out locs.

Men's services include clipper cuts for clients without locs, a fade add-on and beard trims. Straight razor shaves come in Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, with steam towels, massage and aftershave or vitamin C spray depending on the tier. Full packages bundle a basic wash, retwist and style, or a hydration treatment with an aloe scalp treatment, retwist and style. The site's portfolio shows wash and retwist work, barrel twists, updos with a bang, half-up half-down styles, starter locs with style and freestyle barrel twists.

The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM and closed on Sundays and Mondays. Appointments should be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours ahead. Cancellations made within 24 hours are charged 25% of the service fee, no-shows are charged 50% of the cost, and clients more than 10 minutes late are canceled unless the studio was told in advance.
