New clients can book on the JayLoren.com booking site or by calling 708-344-0054. Consultations are free and can be done in person or by text, and they are required before a first visit for balayage, highlights, color correction, Brazilian blowouts, updos and other specialty services. Evening appointments from 8 to 10 pm can be booked by phone at a higher price. The salon is open 9 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 2 pm Sunday.

Arrivals are asked to come no more than 10 minutes early. Clients who arrive 15 or more minutes late have their appointment cancelled and are charged half the service. A no-show without notice is charged 50% of the scheduled service and cannot be rebooked, and deposits are not refunded if the client does not come in. Appointments can be rescheduled without penalty by calling the salon. Style changes should be discussed before arriving, and services are guaranteed for up to five days, with any issue reported by phone. Using recreational substances or intoxicants before an appointment leads to cancellation and a fee.

Gift cards are sold in $5, $10, $20 and $50 amounts or a custom amount, can be bought online, and can be reloaded or have their balance checked on the booking platform. Special occasion hair and makeup is booked after a consultation and priced by hair length and density, with travel fees for mobile visits.

Specialty services begin with a free consultation, in person or by text, so the stylist can plan color, lightening, perms and blowouts before the first appointment.
