Bridal work is a central part of the business. Janice serves as lead stylist for Southern Bride Magazine, including its fashion shoots, and has styled shoots on location in cities such as Key West, Puerto Vallarta, Charleston, New Orleans, Asheville, Memphis, Seaside and Mobile. For brides, the salon offers a complimentary consultation, paid pre-wedding trial sessions, and hair services on the wedding day either in the salon or on location, including party bookings for bridal parties.
Beyond bridal, the menu covers men's haircuts, fades and beard trims, and women's haircuts, blow dries, base color, toner, highlights, balayage, corrective color, color touch-ups for the part and hairline, and permanent waves. Hair care products are sold through Janice Allen's Amazon store. Clients book by phone, text, messaging or online. Hours run Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. Janice is usually booked weeks ahead, and prices may vary depending on hair type.
