The salon is known for its organic facials, hydration facials, henna hair color and Ayurveda hair and scalp treatments. Its HydraFacial menu runs from a 30-minute Mini-HydraFacial to a one-hour HydraFacial, with a Deluxe version that adds red light therapy and micro-current. Every HydraFacial includes a mini hydrating cleanse, dermabrasion, exfoliation, a herbal infusion, hand and arm massage, a facial mask, LED light therapy and facial massage. Other facials address concerns such as acne, rosacea, dry skin and signs of aging, and a Customized Skin Facial is tailored to an individual's skin type and needs. The organic facials include a 30 to 40 minute face and hand massage. Hair services use herbal masks, hot oil and scalp massage, and a hair loss treatment with an herbal hydrating mask. Henna hair coloring starts at $85, depending on hair length, and is by appointment only. A consultation and a recommended strand test come first, and clients may bring their own henna to have it applied. Services are given in a private room, and every service includes a complimentary consultation. Walk-ins are welcome, but clients are asked to call or text 512-789-5908 before arriving. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice carry a $35 fee, paid through Zelle or Venmo. The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:30am to 4:30pm, and Thursday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5pm. Gift cards can be ordered online and their balances checked. The salon sells handmade skin and hair care products made with naturally sourced ingredients, which are also available through ancientayurvedic.com. Threading is offered as a natural alternative to waxing for facial hair, and facial waxing is also available.
