Each studio is private and lockable, with a stylist chair and mirror, a sink, and hot and cold water. Shared spaces include a client waiting area, a shampoo lounge, a processing lounge, a break room, a kitchen and on-site laundry. Studios come with a mini refrigerator, custom cabinetry and alarm security, and a receptionist is provided. Some studios are double studios set up for two professionals to partner. The business acts as landlord for the professionals and does not employ them; each must be fully licensed and permitted and carry proper insurance.

Hair services run from kids and small haircuts through color, perms, weaves and specialty treatments such as keratin smoothing, custom extensions and fashion color. Nail services cover manicures, pedicures, gel work, full sets, nail art and repair. Massage options include Swedish, stress reliever, hot stone, prenatal, reflexology, craniosacral and aroma therapy, plus couples massage, body scrubs and body wraps. Facials include the iLiké line, specialty skin treatments and several peels. Waxing starts at $10, and the salon states its waxing professionals are fully trained.

Listed prices are starting prices and can change with the technician, the services chosen, and the time or product needed. Accurate pricing is available by consultation and cost estimate before booking or at the start of service. Appointments are required, and same-day or walk-in visits are rarely available. New clients are welcomed by referral only; the entrance stays secured, and clients call or text their professional on arrival. Some technicians have online booking and may ask for a deposit, and clients with a history of no-shows or cancellations must pay deposits on any booking.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9AM to 9PM, Saturday 9AM to 4PM, and closed Sunday. Appointments can be made by phone at (661) 948-8400 or by email at JSalonStudiosSpa@gmail.com. A 24-hour cancellation notice is requested, with a recommended fee of 50% of booked services; no-shows are charged the full service fee, and no-call or same-day cancellations forfeit deposit refunds. Clients have a 10-minute grace period, and those 15 or more minutes late may be asked to reschedule. Illness is rescheduled without a cancellation fee. Adjustments are usually free with the original provider within 10 days of service. Service payments go to the technician, while product purchases are paid to the salon separately; cash, checks and mobile app payments are generally accepted.
