According to Laura Goodwin, the salon's founder, Kimberlyn Slafter, opened what Laura describes as the first all-private-studio salon in the area. The salon's stated goal is to give each client the look they want by listening to their needs, analyzing them, and matching them with suitable products.

Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can be requested through an online form or by phone. Initial consultations are complimentary and carry no commitment, and the salon recommends starting with a consultation with a hairstylist before any color or treatment. Clients who want a standard cut in a new style can also take advantage of the free consultation. Group appointments can be booked in advance.

On the hair side, the salon offers cuts and trims, full-head, partial and foiled color, touch-ups and color correction, highlights, lowlights and balayage, ombre, gray coverage, blowouts, straightening and curling, relaxer treatments, Brazilian blowouts, keratin treatments, extension work and wedding hair styling with bridal consultations. Men's services include barbering, beard shaping and trimming, and straight razor shaves. Beauty services cover customized facials, waxing for the body, brow shaping and tinting, microblading, lash extensions, lash tinting and lifts, and permanent makeup. Nail services include manicures, acrylic sets with designer options, and tailor-made nail art.
