The studio is owned by Y. J'Louis, who serves as its Wig Architect and CEO. Appointments are limited so the studio can keep a high level of service for each client. Booking requires a mandatory $50 deposit, which is non-refundable.

The menu covers installs made with J'Louis Glam Extensions, installs done with a client's own hair or other extensions, and maintenance and styling. Install options range from a one-hour quick weave cap with bonded extensions to a three-hour full sew-in with no leave-out. Styling includes wig shampoo, tighten-ups, lace relay, krimps, flat iron, silk straight and several curl styles.

Policies are set out in advance. Bundles and closures bought from the studio must be paid in full seven days before the appointment. A $15 late fee applies at fifteen minutes late, and an appointment arriving thirty minutes late must be rescheduled. A $25 no-show fee applies, and late and no-show fees roll onto the balance of the next visit. Children and guests are not allowed unless they are being serviced.

The studio works with an emphasis on limiting bookings, consistent technique and attention to detail.
