Its stated mission is an exceptional experience built on a thorough consultation and on teaching guests how to recreate their looks at home. The salon says it donates a percentage of sales to local charities and names confidence, self-care, creativity and expression as its core values.

Every salon service includes a consultation and an analysis of the guest's hair, covering skin tone, texture and face shape, and stylists explain each service in detail. A complimentary consultation gives guests an overall idea of cost, and a Meet Your Stylist survey, which takes under five minutes, helps match guests with a stylist. Color services include a complimentary hot towel and neck massage. Pricing separates the service from the color used, so guests pay for both.

The salon says all its artists complete extensive training and earn a master's degree in hair before becoming level one stylists. Stylists move through a level system that reflects each artist's demand and adjusted service prices. The salon offers stylists one-on-one coaching, an education fund for continuing learning and an in-house associate program. If a guest's usual stylist is unavailable, the salon encourages them to see another stylist.

The salon is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm, and the phone number is 704.663.0692. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel. A cancellation made within 24 hours is charged 50%, and after a late cancellation future reservations must be booked with a credit card. Gift cards can be bought online.

Each guest's skin tone, texture and face shape are assessed in a consultation, and each service is explained in detail before it begins. The aim is to suggest colors and styles that suit each person and to teach them how to recreate the look at home.
