About

Ivy League Skin was founded to bridge the gap between a clinical expert and a local boutique, with the aim of making medical aesthetics feel less clinical and cold. The clinic describes itself as a personalized, lower-volume alternative to larger med spas, and it is led by its founder, Ivy Nagel.

New clients begin with a mandatory 30-minute initial consultation, called Customize Me. Treatment plans are built after the team studies each client's skin and goals. The clinic books one client at a time and does not double-book, and if no suitable time is open with Ivy Nagel, clients can join a wait list.

The menu covers injectable neurotoxins using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify or Juveau, which the website describes as FDA-approved. Microneedling is offered with or without platelet-rich plasma and is performed with the Crown Aesthetics MicroEvo pen, which the booking site describes as FDA approved. Biostimulators, Sculptra or Radiesse, are used to encourage the body's own collagen, with the clinic mapping each client's facial structure to reinforce the areas that need it most. Results from biostimulators develop over roughly three to six months and are said to last up to two years or more.

PRX Skin Revitalization is a needle-free option that uses ATCA, hydrogen peroxide and skin-brightening acids in formulas for firmness, brightening or texture. A session takes about 20 to 30 minutes with no downtime, and a series of four sessions one week apart is recommended for longer-lasting collagen remodeling. Chemical peels use glycolic, salicylic, lactic or TCA blend acids chosen for skin type, with depth customized from light lunch-break peels to deeper corrective ones.

Laser services use the Aerolase Neo Elite and Aerolase ERA Elite devices, and cover acne clearance, complete skin rejuvenation, hair removal, psoriasis clearance, melasma and hyperpigmentation, rosacea, redness and veins, and skin tightening. A combined Aerolase treatment covers the face, neck and chest. The clinic says it only uses devices and products its own staff use on themselves, and it links to ZO Skincare products.

Payment plans are offered through Cherry, a buy now, pay later service, which the website says involves no hard credit checks. Some plans carry 0% APR subject to eligibility, while interest-bearing plans have APRs as low as 5.99%, and approvals of up to $50,000 are stated. Gift cards are also available.

The clinic customizes each treatment plan after studying the client's skin and goals, and it limits its schedule to one client at a time.

The clinic sits in Auburn's foothills and is described as a calm place away from everyday bustle.
