About

Interlude Aesthetics is a small skincare studio at 1710 North 16th Street, Suite F2, in Phoenix, inside The Carmody building. Owner and esthetician Nicole runs the studio, and services are by appointment. Listed hours are Wednesday 9am to 7pm, Thursday through Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 1pm to 4pm. A dedicated lot for Carmody guests sits on the northeast corner of 16th Street and Almeria, just north of McDowell Road, with overflow parking along Almeria Road or Coronado Road.

Nicole started practicing skincare in 2013, beginning with corrective laser therapies before moving toward holistic wellness. The studio's treatments draw on botanical ingredients such as herbs, roots, petals, clay and bark, along with acids and enzymes. The standard facial, the Herbal Remedy Customized Facial, includes a skin analysis, exfoliation, extractions when needed, targeted treatment and facial massage. Some facials are built around specific concerns: the most requested option for acne is a 90-minute extended version with high frequency and light therapy, and for dark spots a 60-minute version with an organic chemical peel add-on is commonly chosen.

A visit is private. The studio is small and reserved for the client during the appointment, and the treatment room is lit low, with candles, dried herbs, incense and warm tones. Consultations last 45 minutes and cost $50, with that amount applied to a service booked within 30 days. Payment is made at the studio and gratuity is included in listed prices. Gift cards are sent by email and can be used toward any treatment.

Beyond facials, the menu includes express treatments, a 120-minute Whole Being visit, a seasonal yam and pumpkin enzyme peel, brow shaping and tinting, lash lifts and tints, brow lamination, body skincare for the back, and a full range of sugaring and waxing for face and body.

Nicole assesses skin as it looks on the day of the visit and gives priority to protecting the skin barrier. Treatments are guided by current skin science alongside a holistic view of mind-body health.
