About

InnerLight Bodyworks is a small practice at 505 N. Sepulveda in Manhattan Beach. Its philosophy looks at mind, body and soul together, with the aim of helping clients feel more comfortable in their bodies. Services include Traditional Chinese Medicine, massage therapy and yoga.

Traditional Chinese Medicine services include acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies, cupping, gua-sha and tuina. Herbal formulas are custom-made by Crane Herbs, an herbal lab in Northern California, and mailed to clients. The practice says Crane Herbs follows top manufacturing standards and complies with HIPAA, FDA, cGMP and labeling regulations.

A first session runs 90 to 120 minutes and costs $300; it includes intake, consultation and an acupuncture treatment. Follow-up sessions are offered at 60, 75, 90 and 120 minutes for $180, $220, $250 and $300. Session lengths are listed at 45 minutes for $150, 60 for $180, 75 for $220, 90 for $250, and 120 or new patient for $300.

Payment is due at the time of service, and gratuity is not accepted. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice, with 48 hours preferred; a missed appointment is charged to the client's account. A superbill for acupuncture is provided on request if insurance covers it, and the practice can supply a form to help check out-of-network acupuncture benefits. Hours are Tuesday and Thursday 11 to 8, Wednesday 12 to 5, and Friday and Saturday 10 to 5.

Traditional Chinese Medicine paired with massage training and yoga, with a focus on the mind, body and soul together.
