INK HDZ Scalp Micropigmentation is a scalp micropigmentation studio with a main location at 530 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica and a second at 7901 Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood. It serves Santa Monica and Los Angeles County, and visits are by appointment only.

Scalp micropigmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure in which pigment is placed in tiny dots on the scalp, similar to tattooing. The studio uses it for hair loss, thinning hair and receding hairlines. Pigments are described as vegan and organic, and each shade is mixed to match the client's skin tone, which the studio says helps avoid blue or green shifts in color.

Services fall into two groups. The True-Natural Hairline is a soft, feathered hairline design. The scar services cover FUE scar camouflage for scars left by follicular unit extraction, and FUT scar camouflage for strip scars left by follicular unit transplant. For keloidal scars, micro-needling is used beforehand in FUT cases.

Booking starts with a free 15-minute consultation call, where the artist answers questions as needed. Quotes are based on photos of the front and back of the head and typically cover two sessions, with each later session at $800 to $1000 according to the FAQ. All sessions needed are included in the quoted price. The average client needs three to four sessions spaced 10 to 14 days apart, and each session lasts about two to four hours depending on the amount of thinning. The studio says the work can last about three to seven years and is semi-permanent.

Aftercare is spelled out: for the first three days, keep shower water off the head, avoid cutting hair and avoid heavy sweating. From day four the head can be washed with cool water, and a normal routine resumes by day seven. The studio advises no more than 30 minutes of direct sun exposure and a hat afterward. The business also runs a three-day SMP course in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, listed at $3500 and $5500 with a full kit included, through its INK HDZ SMP Academy in Santa Monica.
