Indulging Hands Therapeutic Spa was founded in 2013 by Najah Turner, a registered massage practitioner who built her own client base while working independently before opening the spa. The spa describes its mission as delivering a wellness experience to guests while giving staff a positive, family-style place to work.

The menu is organized into massage, signature massage treatments, facials, waxing and memberships. Massage options range from a 25-minute express neck, shoulder and back session to 110-minute Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and Thai sessions, with lymphatic drainage, reflexology, sports and prenatal massage also offered. Couples can book a side-by-side massage in one room with two therapists, and the Indulgence Duo package adds a warm essential oil foot soak and a light lunch and beverage to a 50-minute massage.

Facials are performed by Dermalogica-trained estheticians and use Dermalogica products. Options include a basic Essential Facial, a Teen Facial focused on acne for teens and young adults, a men's deep cleansing facial, a Back Facial with steam and a back and shoulder massage, a short 30-minute Express Mini Facial, and a Vitamin C Facial that uses a biolumin-c serum.

Waxing is offered for a wide range of areas, from small spots such as the chin, lip, toes and eyebrows up to full leg, full back and full face services.

Booking can be done online, and gift cards are available online or in person. The spa is open Monday through Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday 8am to 8pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm, and can be reached at (301) 539-3651. Cancellations need to be made at least 6 to 8 hours before an appointment, and late cancellations and no-shows are charged a percentage of the service. Young children and pets are not allowed on the premises, and clients under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

The spa's stated focus is a therapeutic wellness experience built around massage and skin care, with the facial line built on Dermalogica products.
