In His Image Salon has been operating in Dallas since 2004 and is booked by appointment only. The salon states its aim is to give men and women a place to care for the mind, body and soul, and it is designed to help guests relax and step away from everyday stress. According to the salon, its staff is highly educated and it uses high-quality products.

Hair services include mane prep, cleansing and treatment, color, haircuts and styles. Styles are priced from $35, and clients must choose Selection A first. Loc services include loc styles from $30 and traditional loc maintenance on the roots only, starting at $85.

Sisterlocks is offered as a package of three visits. The first is a consultation covering hair care history, styling preferences and lifestyle, which also includes test locks to see whether they will hold. The second is a locking session that can take 10 to 16 hours over two days, or longer in some cases; the average client leaves with 400 to 500 locks, depending on density. Consultants provide a Starter Kit at that session, and shampoo services are included. The third visit is a first re-tightening. Re-tightening is recommended every 4 to 6 weeks, with an average of 4 to 8 weeks depending on hair type and growth rate, and a re-tightening after more than 8 weeks carries additional charges.

Clients are recommended to book at least 48 hours ahead, and special requests can be noted at booking. Rescheduling or cancelling requires 24 hours' notice. Services over $100 require a non-refundable 35% deposit, which can be moved to another service up to two times and is applicable for up to 30 days. A $25 fee applies to no-shows or late cancellations, and arriving more than 10 minutes late incurs a $15 fee, with appointments automatically cancelled after 15 minutes. Gift cards are available for purchase.
