Illusions

Illusions was established in 2015 and is run by its owner, Cassie, from a suite inside the studio. The space is set up as a beauty studio rather than a hair salon, so the feel is quieter and centered on the services.

The business describes itself as offering nearly every beauty service a client might need, including brows, lashes, body waxing, permanent makeup and skin services. Hours are by appointment. Clients can call or text to book, and the business notes that texting gets a quicker reply.

Brows are a central part of the work. Microblading is a semi-permanent method that uses pigment to build fuller, more defined brows. A consultation must be booked before any microblading or shading session, and a first microblading appointment is open to clients who have not had microblading before. Touch-ups are for returning clients and are booked 12 to 18 months after their last session.

On the lash side, the studio offers light and full volume extensions and does not offer classic sets. Volume fills require the client to have already been seen by an Illusions lash artist. The menu also includes lash lifts, lash perms that can include a tint, and lash tints. Full volume sets are priced from $140 to $200 according to the home page.

Work is planned around the client's history: a consultation comes before microblading, lash fills build on a first visit with a lash artist, and touch-ups are reserved for returning clients.
