Clients book through a page grouped into brows, add-ons, lash and brow services, lash extensions, lash lifts, signature packages and education. Lash fills are recommended every two to three weeks as natural lashes shed and grow, and extensions are not affected by showers or swimming. Before a lash appointment, clients should come in with clean, makeup-free eyes and washed lashes, and skip waterproof mascara for 48 hours. Contact lenses need to come out for lash services, and brows should be free of products, with retinoids and exfoliants avoided for seven days beforehand. Aftercare products for home use are sold on site.

Education is a substantial part of the business. Private trainings, group trainings and individual coaching are offered for certified professionals, and certification is available for lash extensions and brow lamination through BorboletaPro. Courses include a kit with the materials needed to begin working with clients after certification. A $500 deposit is due at scheduling, with the balance due one week before class, and students enrolled in cosmetology or esthetics school may take training with proof of enrollment. The site describes the Borboleta curriculum as nationally accredited.

Lash sets are customized to each client's features and style, with Cool Down products preferred for the health of natural lashes and brows.
