I Get Twysted

Get Twysted works only with locs. It operates as a private suite (Room 15) inside Salons by JC in Buford, and everything is booked by appointment through the studio's Vagaro page, which also lists hours and availability. The salon describes itself as a premium loc studio.

The room is set up for one client at a time, with a cozy, intimate and quiet feel. Because the studio is a single-person space, the stylist and client keep conversation focused on the appointment during the visit.

Every visit starts with a free consultation of up to 15 minutes, offered on weekdays during regular business hours and required before any service. It is used to guide product and regimen choices for people who are starting locs or already locked. Clients are asked to prepare their locs and take out any previous style before arriving, and each appointment allows one guest, who waits in the shared area for the full service.

The focus is on technique rather than products, with the aim of healthy, well-structured locs and corrective work. Prices are a starting point.

Policies cover adults only (ages 18 and up, with ID required if age can't be determined), no walk-ins, and a 10-minute grace period for lateness. Cancellations need 24 to 48 hours' notice, same-day cancellations are charged in full, and a missed consultation without notice carries a $25 rescheduling fee. Payment is accepted in cash and major credit cards, and checks are not accepted.
