Hy’Profile Experience

Hy'Profile Experience is led by founder Ms. Mimi, who moved to Houston in 2019 to widen her opportunities in beauty and grooming. She trained in cosmetology at Paul Mitchell The School in Houston, worked in a salon for a year afterward, and added barber training at Houston Barber School in 2023. The business centers on loc work, and the stated mission is to care for one crown at a time.

New and transfer clients begin with a one-hour consultation that costs $25. That fee is applied to the first appointment, and the consultation must be completed before booking. Clients who already wear microlocs or traditional locs book a 30-minute consultation for the same $25 fee.

The business is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Appointments that run past their scheduled window are billed in 30-minute blocks at $25 each.

Booking terms ask clients to cancel within 24 hours of the appointment. Clients who do not call and do not show are charged 50% of the service cost. Deposits are non-refundable but can be moved to a new date if a client needs to reschedule. Clients have a 15-minute grace period, after which the appointment is cancelled and the deposit is forfeited. Remaining balances can be paid in cash, by debit or credit card, through Zelle, or with Apple Pay.
