The space is light and calm, with an understated, upscale feel. To check in, clients text the salon from their car on arrival, wait to be called in, then press 322 on the call box. The elevator reaches the third floor, and a restroom is down the hall.

Color is the main focus, from all-over color and root retouches on new growth to partial and full highlights, balayage and ombre. Color services include a bonding treatment and a gloss when needed, with blow dry and style. Haircuts, gloss treatments, children's cuts for kids under 10, blow dries and updos are also offered.

Hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM; no Monday hours are listed. Changes or cancellations need 48 hours' notice, or half the scheduled service is charged. A no-show is charged the full service, and arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean rescheduling or skipping the blow dry. For a break before or after the appointment, the salon points to nearby Ballard spots, including Woodland Coffee, Red Arrow Coffee, Great Notion Brewery and The Walrus and the Carpenter.
