Waxing is the core of the menu, with separate women's and men's lists. The women's services cover arms, legs, back, underarms, bikini and Brazilian areas, and facial waxing. It takes about 20 minutes and is listed at $70 at all three studios. Men can book back, chest, neck, butt, between-the-cheeks, beard, scalp and Bro-zilian waxes.
Skin treatments are Korean-inspired and customized to each client's concerns, using professional products and advanced treatment technology. The Glass Skin Facial, the signature treatment at $150, takes about 1 hour 20 minutes and includes exfoliation, stainless steel gua sha, facial massage, a treatment masque, a customized serum and a cooling ice globe massage. The Express Facial is $95 and takes about 45 minutes. Facials can be upgraded with chemical peels, LED light therapy, dermaplaning and hydrogel or hydrojelly masks, and the business advises dermaplaning about every 4 to 6 weeks.
Brow and lash services are available. Lash lifts and tints are offered at all three studios, and threading is offered at Baltimore and Perry Hall. Lash extensions, including UV Lash Technology, are offered only at the Newark studio, which also offers spray tan. The studios are at 1114 W 36th St in Baltimore, 8841 Bel Air Rd Suite A in Nottingham (the Perry Hall medspa location), and 257 E Main St Suite 102 in Newark.
Booking is available online at hwwax.com or by calling the studio. A valid payment card is required to secure each appointment. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice are charged 50 percent of the service price, and missed appointments are charged in full. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may shorten or reschedule the visit. The business accepts major credit cards, cash and Apple Pay.
