The building was designed to look as though it dates back to the 1700s, with historic Charleston homes as design references.

The spa offers treatments meant to support wellness for both body and mind. Its menu is grouped into advanced aesthetics, facials, body treatments, massage, seasonal specials, and add-ons and enhancements. Facials use products from Omorovicza, Phytomer and DOCTOR BABOR, and body treatments draw on organic shea butter and CBD-infused products. The Dr. Babor Cryo-Sculpt pairs cold therapy with gua sha massage, and a Gentleman's Facial is designed for men.

Prenatal Massage and Prenatal Pamper are offered to guests in their second or third trimester. Couples can book a massage together in a couple's room, and the Signature Massage is fully customized to the guest.

Appointments are recommended and can be made at spa@hotelbennett.com, by calling 843.990.5415, or online. Spa services are for guests 18 and older. A 20% service charge is added at check-out, and any additional gratuity is up to the guest. Spa hours are 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:30 am to 6:00 pm on weekends. Gift cards for body treatments, massages and facials are available. Through the Local Wellness Program, residents of Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties receive 20% off spa services Monday through Thursday and 10% off spa retail products bought on the day of a treatment. Guests must mention the program when booking and show a valid local ID.

Treatments are built around wellness for the body and mind, and therapists provide personalized sessions, according to the spa.
