Honey Root Beauty

Honey Root Beauty was founded by Britt Lewelling, who opened the salon after years of planning to have a salon of her own. Britt trained at the Aveda Institute in Portland and still works behind the chair as the owner and a hair stylist.

On the hair side, the salon offers haircuts and styling, color including vibrant shades, gray coverage and fashion colors, blonding such as highlighting and lived-in color, balayage, barbering and blowouts. Listed starting prices are $65 for women's haircuts and blowouts, $150 for hair coloring, $165 for highlights and blonding, and $200 for balayage.

Esthetic services are provided by Jenna, with The Fox Shop, and Tatum, with Pore & Petal Esthetics. The menu covers several facial styles, including hydrating, LED therapy, acne, brightening, anti-aging, deep cleaning and back treatment facials, plus Sensi-Peel, medium and deep chemical peels, dermaplaning as an add-on, lash lifts and tints, brow lamination and waxing for the face and body.

The salon has one private room available for lease, suitable for hair or esthetic work. Inquiries about the room go to Britt Lewelling.
