Holistic Salon

Independent artists operate their own businesses, deciding their own hours, prices, product lines, deposits and service rules, and clients reserve with them directly through each artist's own booking link. Commissioned stylists are salon employees who work under the salon's policies.

The salon focuses on clean beauty practices, healthy hair care and a personalized, wellness-minded experience, and it aims to help each client feel free to be themselves. Color is vegan and free from ammonia, MEA and PPD. The salon uses Alfaparf Milano color, Pulp Riot for vivid shades and Redken Shades EQ in some cases, and sells Oway and Cult+King hair care.

The salon brings in established artists on commission or booth rental, with a full backbar, in-salon education and schedules ranging from part-time to full-time, plus a 401K. It also offers in-house training for apprentices, with ongoing education and opportunity days working behind the chair.

Booking requires a 50% deposit of the base service price. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with 48 hours notice, otherwise the deposit is forfeited. No-shows and same-day cancellations are charged the remaining amount of the scheduled service, and arriving 15 minutes or more after the start time carries a 50% cancellation fee and requires rescheduling. Clients are asked to arrive with clean hair, since washing and drying before a color service carries an upcharge. A color robe is provided at check-in. Children are welcome only with their own appointment, except newborns and nursing parents, and pets are not permitted. Silent appointments are available on request. Service concerns should be reported within three days, as services are not refunded.
