miGak was founded in Park Slope, Brooklyn on June 1, 2017, as a nail art table and offers Japanese nail art. It opened a second location in Midtown with Hazuki Hair on May 21, 2023. The miGak team also works backstage at fashion week, at events and on cover shoots. Lucia Lash offers eyelash extensions, LED eyelash extensions and lash lifts, along with brow lamination and tinting, microblading and other permanent makeup, at its Brooklyn and New York locations.

HML NYC Co, led by president, founder and director Daichi Ishihara, also offers consulting and production support for entrepreneurs opening beauty businesses in New York, including company setup, property search, training and support in obtaining a cosmetology license. Ishihara worked at a salon in Harajuku, Tokyo until 2000, then moved to the United States and joined a Japanese-owned salon. He acquired a Japanese-owned salon in Midtown, New York in 2005.
