The menu covers manicures, pedicures, massages, facials, add-on treatments, packages and memberships. Pedicures come in several versions: a classic option with a warm oil soak, an Athletic Man version with cooling aromatics, peppermint scrub and a hot stone foot and calf massage, a CBD version with a CBD soak, scrub, massage lotion and cooling mask massage, a Jelly Pedicure where the warm water sets into a plant-oil gel scented with green tea and mint, a Coffee Pedicure with a coffee exfoliate, and a Tea Tree Pedicure with an Epsom salt soak and tea tree body wash. The Incredible Hulk Package includes a beer pedicure, in which the feet soak in a tub of beer.
Massages range from a full body massage that works the back, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, hands and neck, to a full body sports massage that draws on several massage styles for active clients. A deep tissue massage is offered at a very firm pressure for knots and stressed muscles, and a custom massage adjusts pressure to the client's needs. Clients booking a custom massage are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for a consultation.
Facials are designed for men's skin: the Hiz Detox Facial aims at pores, excess oil and impurities, the Hiz Hydrate Facial is a hydrating treatment, and the Hiz Back Facial cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the back. Paraffin hand and foot wax and callus removal are available as add-ons.
A visit includes a complimentary beverage of the guest's choice, and guests have their own TV for the duration of the service. Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are recommended and can be booked online or by phone. A $25 deposit holds an appointment and is forfeited for cancellations or no-shows. A manicure usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes and a pedicure about 30 to 60 minutes, and add-ons can lengthen the visit. Nail finishes are limited to clear gloss, matte clear or buff shine, and colored polish is not offered. Each guest receives a disposable pouch of single-use, sterilized nail supplies, and metal instruments are autoclaved between services.
Packages combine services, including The Classic Man, The Distinguished Gentlemen, The Athletic Man, The Hiz Package and The Incredible Hulk Package. The Hiz Package can be added to any service and includes complimentary champagne. Three memberships are listed: Silver at $149.99, Gold at $249.99 and Platinum VIP at $379.99, each with a monthly allotment of package services and spa experiences and a featured beverage, with higher tiers adding more visits, top-shelf beverages, a cigar-of-the-month gift, keypad access and a first-time guest pass. The salon also hosts private events such as bachelor parties, birthdays, business meetings and holiday celebrations.
Hours are Tuesday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Wednesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The salon is closed on Mondays. Women are welcome to book any service, but the salon does not offer artificial nail services. Gift certificates can be bought online or in store at the Alsip location, are non-refundable, and electronic payments for services must be used within 30 days.
The salon says it gives its staff a relaxing workspace and well-regarded tools and supplies, and it describes its products as industry-leading.
Guests can watch sports on a large screen during their service, with a TV of their own at each treatment.
