Color is a major part of the menu. Options include blended color, highlights, balayage, bright color pop in all over, half and half or peek-a-boo versions, and color correction to remove and fix a poor previous color, which may take more than one visit. Toner can adjust, correct or personalize existing color by staining the hair rather than changing it chemically. Color estimates are given in person, or sometimes by phone using photos, and the final price depends on hair length, thickness, color and timing.
Men's services include clipper or scissor cuts such as tapers, fades and military cuts, buzz cuts, neck and bang trims, beard trims and shaping or a clean shave, and a combined haircut and beard trim. The men's haircut is performed by a barber-trained stylist.
Bridal and special-occasion work includes a wedding hair consultation, a short appointment to plan how many people are coming, travel, and the style for the day, along with updos for weddings, prom and other occasions. The portfolio shows before-and-after examples of blended color, highlights, balayage, color pop, color correction and fades.
Scheduling: the salon is open Tuesday 10 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday 3 PM to 8 PM, Friday 10 AM to 3 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Clients who cannot make an appointment are asked to let the salon know as soon as possible so it can be rescheduled.
Haircuts and color are tailored to each client, with styling for lay, curl or lift.
