Owner Emarie Gutierrez is the hairdresser who works with each client.

Appointments are scheduled with enough time for an in-depth conversation about each client's hair needs. The menu covers haircuts, a taper cut, and a shampoo, blow-dry and quick style; all-over color in short, medium and long lengths; root touch-ups or highlifts; bleach touch-ups for grow-out of six weeks or less and full bleach; balayage in half or full sets; face-framing, half and full highlights; and toner or gloss.

Hair extensions, tape-in or sew-in beaded wefts, and color correction are priced by contacting the salon. A conditioning or bond treatment can be added to a haircut or color service, starting at $30. Starting prices are listed for the other services, with all-over color at $95 for short hair, $110 for medium and from $130 for long hair.

HEX is open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm and closed Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Clients can reach the salon at (310) 595-4120 or emarie@hexsalon.com.

Each client is seen one-on-one, with appointments timed to allow in-depth discussion of their hair needs.
