HERcurls Studio is on the upper floor of a grey brick building at the corner of Ervay and Seegar streets in The Cedars. Clients enter through a black door on Ervay Street. Street parking is available on Ervay, Seegar, and Lear streets, and visitor parking sits to the left of the building. The lot to the right of the building is not for parking, since vehicles there are towed.

The studio works on curly hair of every type and texture and welcomes all genders. Its stylists look at how each client's hair falls, how they wear it day to day, and what their routine looks like outside the salon. Stylists also share ideas with one another, and the studio is drawn to clients who like to do things their own way.

A curly haircut starts with a consultation, followed by a dry cut. Each haircut appointment includes a hair detox, a shampoo, a deep conditioning treatment with steam and aromatherapy, and diffused dry styling, and usually runs about 1 to 1.5 hours. Clients also receive guidance on caring for their curls and styling at home. Wash-and-go appointments are offered and booked through the online scheduler. The studio does not offer barbering services such as shaves, fades, or designs.

Color appointments generally take 3 to 5 hours, depending on prep work, hair density, and length. First-time clients cannot book color, so the first visit is a curly cut. Returning clients request color by emailing bookwithhaiya@hercurls.com with the city in the subject line. A root touch-up does not include styling unless a curly haircut is booked, though styling with an apprentice is available for an extra fee.

Booking opens on the 1st of each month at 8am CST for the following month. A non-refundable retainer reserves an appointment and goes toward the total cost. Dallas cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice, and travel locations need at least 10 business days' notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full price. Hair should be washed the morning of the visit, detangled, product-free, fully dry, and worn loose. The studio accepts cards, cash, Apple Pay, and Zelle, and does not accept returns or exchanges on haircare and merchandise sales.
