Bridal henna is the core of the work. Packages run from the Anarkali Bride at $220 to the Maharani Bride at $550, priced without feet, and include text, quotes and the groom's name at no extra charge. Custom work such as skylines, elaborate drawings or characters is charged at $2.00 per minute and is discussed beforehand so a time frame and quote can be set. Bridal bookings need a signed contract and a 30% deposit to hold the date.
Home studio sessions are offered in the greater Chicago area for women only, as men are not allowed inside. Options include strip henna on two or four sides, intricate designs on the hands, and mandala designs, with prices starting at $35 and visits from about 20 minutes. A mother-and-daughter session covers two designs each for daughters aged 2 to 8, and adult designs are $25 extra.
Party henna is booked with senior artists at $120 per hour, or $150 to $170 per hour out of state. Bookings run at least 2 hours within 40 miles and 3 hours beyond that, and need a contract and a 30% deposit. Travel fees range from $30 for 0-5 miles to $60 for 16-20 miles, with $100 for downtown Chicago and $2 per additional mile beyond 20 miles plus any parking fees.
