Services fall into four groups: threading, waxing, facials and henna. Threading covers eyebrows, the upper lip and other areas of the face, with full-face options. Waxing covers most body areas, from face and arms to legs, back and bikini. Facial treatments use Dermalogica and Image Skincare products, and the menu ranges from a mini facial to a longer typical extensive facial that runs about an hour, though the length can vary.

A facial begins with a brief skin analysis by a licensed esthetician. Waxing is performed by the estheticians with GiGi honey wax, and clients are asked not to shave beforehand and to let hair grow to about a quarter inch so the wax can grip it. Threading uses a thin, twisted cotton thread to lift hairs from the root, and the salon says any irritation from it lasts no more than a few minutes.

Henna body art and henna hair coloring are also offered. The henna paste is described as 100% natural, with no artificial coloring or chemicals, and henna for hair gives a light orange tint.

Appointments can be booked by phone or, for the Lake Forest location, online. The salon suggests booking a day ahead.
