Hair removal is done mainly by waxing and sugaring. Sugar paste is said to cling mainly to hair rather than skin, which the salon says often makes it a good fit for sensitive skin. Because the salon uses four different waxes and sugars, the esthetician chooses among them for each client based on their skin. Waxing and sugaring are said to work on both fine and coarse hair, although men's beard hair can be too coarse for these treatments. Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice, roughly two to three weeks of growth, before an appointment. Most visits take 15 to 30 minutes, and appointments are usually booked every four to six weeks. According to the salon, results typically last three to four weeks, and with consistent treatments hair tends to grow back finer and slower.

Along with hair removal, the Dr. Phillips and Sodo locations provide Brazilian enzyme treatment, intimate lightening, facials, chemical peels, microneedling and dermaplaning. Laser hair removal is available as well, booked as sessions several weeks apart. Lash and brow options cover lash tints and lifts, brow tinting, brow shaping, and brow lamination.

Memberships are billed monthly and can be canceled at any time with no cancellation fee. Members save up to 20% on services and get one service per month for the chosen service type and area, with a new voucher each month that rolls over if unused. Memberships work at any Hello Sugar location, subject to availability, and can be frozen or canceled at no charge. They can be signed up for online or with a team member during an appointment. The Lifetime All-Access Pass gives members the lowest laser hair removal pricing for every area after joining.

Starting prices include $13 for hands, $22 for underarms, $21 for brows, $58 for Brazilian (V) and $76 for full legs. Waterford Lakes is open Monday and Tuesday 9AM to 8PM, Wednesday to Friday 8AM to 8PM, Saturday 9AM to 6PM and is closed Sunday. Dr. Phillips is open Monday to Friday 9AM to 8PM and Saturday 9AM to 6PM and is closed Sunday. Sodo is open Monday to Wednesday and Friday 8AM to 8PM, Thursday 9AM to 8PM, Saturday 8AM to 7PM and Sunday 8AM to 6PM. The Sodo suites are inside Phenix Salon Suites at SODO Plaza, and clients are directed to Entrance B. Clients with questions can text the location's number to reach a receptionist. The website also has a first-timers page covering preparation, appointments and aftercare, and an app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
