Training covers deep tissue, reflexology, sports massage, myofascial release, chair massage and craniosacral therapy, among other modalities. Students receive mentoring from experienced professionals outside the classroom and practice in the student massage clinic and day spa. The school also runs a Holistic Health Practitioner program and offers job placement and career assistance.
RJ Nikola is listed as the founder. The school describes massage as a compassionate practice that can help both the giver and the receiver find healing and peace.
The professional day spa offers bodywork and spa treatments given by licensed massage therapists and student practitioners. Each location has private treatment rooms and a dedicated steam and shower room. Salt Lake City spa hours are 9 am to 9 pm every day. Orem is open 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays. Ogden is open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and 9 am to 9 pm Friday and Saturday. Spa services can be booked online or by phone. Couples massage is priced per person and must be booked by phone, and online gift certificates are available.
The school publishes its own figures. It reports a 99% student satisfaction rate drawn from graduate surveys. Retention is listed at 87% in Salt Lake City, 97% in Orem and 83% in Ogden. Massage therapy exam pass rates are 100% in Salt Lake City and 95% in Orem. Placement rates are 77% in Salt Lake City and 81% in Orem, calculated with a formula the school sets out itself. According to the school, it has been a leading massage school for two decades.
