HBN Lux was founded by Nikki, a Cleveland hairstylist working since 2013, and was set up to make beauty feel more personal, convenient and connected. Rather than a single team on one schedule, it brings together independent beauty professionals in one location.
Each professional sets their own service menus, prices, deposits and cancellation policies, and clients book directly with that person rather than through the salon. Nikki takes bookings through GlossGenius, Ebony, Maine and Joan use StyleSeat, and Mariah uses Acuity Scheduling.
Services fall into three groups: hair and signature cuts, extensions and protective styles, and waxing with personal beauty treatments. Known offerings include platinum pixie cuts, K-Tip extensions, braiding for kids and adults, and Brazilian and full-body waxing.
