Happy Salon is a certified Aveda concept salon and works with Aveda products, which the salon describes as petroleum-free and based on vegan ingredients. It says Aveda's sustainability and eco-friendly practices match its own values. The focus is on personal attention and high-quality products, and the team, which the salon calls small and highly skilled, says its stylists keep up with current techniques and trends.
The menu covers haircuts, Aveda color (including color retouches, glosses, highlights, toners and full-head color), add-on treatments such as Botanical Therapy and Botanical Repair conditioning, hot iron and blow-dry styling, and brow tinting and waxing. VoMor tape-in extensions are offered in 12- and 16-inch lengths and 28 shades designed to blend with the Aveda color line. The salon says they suit women with fine or thinning hair. A first VoMor visit starts with a consultation, installation takes a few hours, and the extensions are typically worn for 6 to 8 weeks before they can be cleaned and reapplied. Corrective color is priced after a consultation.
Appointments can be booked online, and guests are asked to secure them with a credit card. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed appointments carry a 50% fee. Guests running more than 15 minutes late are asked to call the salon. Children under 12 may not be left unattended, and any child who comes along must stay with the guest. Cash and major credit cards are accepted, and gift cards can be bought in any amount and personalized. Hours are 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
