Extensions are the salon's main focus. HairSlayer HandTied extensions are handcrafted from Russian human hair, sewn by hand onto 100% cotton wefts with the cuticle intact and no synthetic fibers or heavy silicones. The salon describes them as the diamond standard of hair quality and calls its HandTied method the most requested hand-tied option. Clients choose 16, 22 or 24 inch hair, sold in packs of four wefts, in one of 21 custom colors that are mostly rooted or rooted and blended. Fine to medium hair usually needs one or two packs, and super thick hair needs a custom order.

Extension services range from one-, two- and three-row reinstalls to full transformations. A reinstall removes grown-out extensions and beads, then brushes, sections and reinstalls the set. Full transformations combine installation with custom color on the extensions and natural hair, plus cutting and blending. The hair for a full transformation must be bought and paid in full before the appointment and cannot be refunded once paid. The Beaded Row method uses a string and bead technique with minimal contact with natural hair and no glue or tape, and removal takes under 10 minutes.

Color services run from partial highlights, which take 2 to 4 hours, and full highlights, at 4 to 6 hours, to a full transformation highlight that takes 6 to 8 hours and includes a haircut and blow-dry. Gray coverage is an added cost on highlight services. Adding a haircut to any color service saves $10 on the cut. Services are booked a la carte, but care packages save the most, and a la carte options can be discussed on request.

Policies include 24 hours notice to cancel, and a shortened or rescheduled appointment for clients 15 minutes or more late. Completed services are not refunded, and clients can reschedule by text or voice message. Clients who mention a Google review at the start of service receive a discount at the end with proof. Licensed stylists who show a state cosmetology license get 20% off their order and free shipping on HandTied extensions.

Each extension client signs a waiver and is shown how to wash, treat, detangle, dry and style their hair at home, with a care card to follow. The salon recommends having extensions installed by a certified HandTied Extension Artist and asking to see the certificate first. It also offers the HandTied HairSlayer certification course in luxury hair extensions and hosts continuing education workshops for stylists.
